Parks Districts
Parks Districts help provide public parks for new development projects.
The following parks districts are currently being administered by the City:
-
Zone A
Services provided by the Parks and Community Services Department include maintenance of parkland and linear parkway sites, improved multi-use trails, facilities, and recreational programs for the City’s children, adults, and senior citizens.
Community and neighborhood parks provide both passive and active recreational opportunities throughout the City. The parks provide playing fields/courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, softball, football, and golf, many of which are used by local sports organizations to serve area youth. The parks also offer picnic and playground areas, hiking and equestrian trails, skateboarding, and roller hockey amenities.
