How Alert MoVal Works

Alert MoVal, City of Moreno Valley’s Emergency Alert and Warning Notification System, rapidly sends notifications to all residents and businesses in an affected area when there's an emergency or disaster. 

For phones, Alert MoVal automatically calls listed and unlisted landline telephone numbers in the affected area and delivers a recorded message. If phone lines are busy, the system redials those telephone numbers attempting to make contact. If an answering machine picks up the call, the emergency message is left on the machine.

The City of Moreno Valley assumes no responsibility if an emergency message cannot be delivered or is not received.
